Talk:Avon/Cally
We need a source/cite for In answer to a fan question about whether there was a relationship between Avon & Soolin, Darrow quickly & categorically dismissed this and (without even being asked) underlined that the relationship was in fact between Avon & Cally, saying "Oh no no not Avon & Soolin...Avon and Cally".MeeDee (talk) 19:50, 21 September 2019 (UTC)
I have provided a source for this now, however I note that, as I mentioned before, there is no citation for the opposite view that the actors "denied" it ("the actors involved have been asked whether or not they see the pairing as canon, which they have denied.") Surely, to make it fair, there should be a source for this or at least a sentence such as "IT IS REPORTED that they denied..."? (MsVM)
- Thanks - is there a link to the website and where the interview took place? (If it is offline we can run it through the WayBack Machine). And we can easily change the wording to "some fans believe the actors denied..." If we're quoting actors, we should get sources if possible, but fan beliefs/head canon can simply be reported. Thanks - the second example I gave, as stated, was a fan account of a question Darrow answered (so not a formal "interview" in that sense - as stated it was from the old Avonpds website, it is a direct quote of his reply, so there is no reason to suspect its veracity. I think the link is: https://www.tapatalk.com/groups/avonpds/has-anyone-noticed-t537-s10.html
Also it would be great if you could put "some fans believe the actors denied..." as it is always stated by those on the other side of the debate that they denied it, but personally I have never seen an actual source for that denial!
- I added citations to that conversation. AvonPds: Has anyone noticed...; archive link. Also, MsVM, it would be great if you signed your posts. You can do this by putting four "~" after your comments. This can be done by simply typing four of them in a row, or by using the toolbox at the top of this page and picking the second one from the end that is "Your signature with timestamp." --MPH (talk) 15:20, 24 September 2019 (UTC)
Thanks, I am very sorry to be pedantic about this, but it seems you have not changed the wording for the other side of the debate as promised (unless it has been done since I last looked, if so I apologize) [User:MeeDee] stated above that "And we can easily change the wording to "some fans believe the actors denied the relationship..." As I said previously, I think it only fair that this should also be included for one side of the debate if it is included for the other side. (MsVM)
