im-on-fire-now, possibly the earliest? anti-larrie (before the word existed), created an account in June 2013--they put up a PSA about shipping vs. tinhatting and started reblogging posts by larries telling them they were wrong[7][8][9][10][11][12] and then larries started replying [13][14][15][16][17]. So im-on-fire-now's language was pretty muted and they may have been reblogging with replies in order to draw attention to their PSA, but I can see how this might have been interpreted as an attack(??) maybe(???). But it's also possible that lots of other people on tumblr were being rude to larries at the time and people thought im-on-fire-now was more of the same. --aethel (talk) 12:46, 2 October 2019 (UTC)
On which side is harassing which:
I genuinely don’t think we’re getting anywhere when either side makes sweeping declarations about the other. I don’t agree that all Larries like to block all forms of communication; I’ve had completely civil conversations with many Larries, most of which were on private chat. I also don’t agree that all antis want open communication; I think we can agree that there are some trolls who just want to start fights and mock Larries. I’ve definitely gotten anons who seem to come to antis’ inboxes just to insult Larries and make gross comments, hoping we’ll agree with them. The anti side isn’t blameless, and I don’t think we should pretend that it is. On the other hand, I don’t think it’s fair to say that antis expect people to agree with us all the time, nor is it fair to say that all of us go around saying that Larries have ruined One Direction. Many people on both sides are perfectly civil people, but we seem like the minority because, well, the vicious insults are usually shouted.[18]

Here's another definition of anti-larrie from larries: i will never understand why some people call themselves respectful antis. you’re not an anti, you’re a non-larrie/neutral. anti implies that you’re so strongly against the idea of harry and louis being together that you would send hate to larries, Archived version, tweet by cozynightslarry, 7 February 2021. people saying it’s okay to be an anti are weird...
