Talk:Anti-Matter

I joined TILOSK and received my subscription to ANTI-MATTER in early 1969. I learned about it from a classified ad in EYE Magazine (I think I still have the magazine, I'm looking).

My copy of ANTI-MATTER Volume I Number 1 is dated September 1968 (it's actually a "third printing" February 1969). It has no fiction story, and the theme is The Legionnaire's Handbook. It is 14 pages of various Rules and By-Laws, Fanzine Lingo and Star Trek info.

I don't have ANTI-MATTER Number 2 -- it seems to be a mystery all around.

ANTI-MATTER Number 3 is dated March 1969.

In November 1969 I received a brief newsletter called "Dilithium" with six pages of Carol Lee's news and gossip (it's folded over to mail, and the postmark is 4 DEC 1969). It was to excuse the lateness of A-M #4.

ANTI-MATTER Number 4 finally showed up around August 1971 (I noted at the time, that it was supposed to be the April 1969 issue).

I even kept the envelopes everything came in with Carol Lee's return address on 80th Street in Woodhaven, NY.

Thank you, Keller78rpm. I added the info to the main page in the refs and otherwise. Welcome to Fanlore, too, btw! --Mrs. Potato Head 20:26, 24 May 2012 (UTC)

This was added to the main page in 2013 by another nephew/the same nephew: "The Carol Lee whose wiki page is linked by the same name on this page is not the same Carol Lee who edited the fanzine Anti-Matter. Being her nephew, I can assure you that the Carol Lee of Anti-Matter never lived in Maryland at any point in her life. She was born, raised, lived and passed away in New York State." --MPH (talk) 17:31, 9 April 2015 (UTC)

Does anyone feel like taking on the challenge of sorting the Carol Lee situation out? --MPH (talk) 23:50, 13 September 2016 (UTC)
