Talk:A Collection of Poetry & Prose
This isn't so much an actor-centric zine as a zine by an actor, which is an amazing thing and I would like to learn more about this. It looks like DeForest Kelley also wrote some Trek poems. I am so jealous of TOS fandom right now. --æþel 02:10, 5 July 2011 (UTC)
- Hm, on second thought, Creation Conventions is a commercial convention organizer. Does this count as a zine? It still might be fanpoetry. (Does anyone have a copy?) --æþel 02:14, 5 July 2011 (UTC)
- I'd say it's a zine, though It's a fine line, this fannish thing about your own fandom. There was a bunch of it in Star Trek. Revenge of the Wind Rider had Nimoy poetry in it, Nichols wrote a bunch of fan poetry, and one of the Kelley things was The Big Bird's Dream. Marion Zimmer Bradley is another example of the cross-pollination of creator and creation. I think there was some in Blake's 7, too. --Mrs. Potato Head 03:14, 5 July 2011 (UTC)
