• DDoS Attack Against AO3: Correcting Misinformation about Anonymous Sudan's reputed status as a front organization, and cautioning against Islamophobia. (There were similar arguments made in teh reddit thread I linked on the page)
• Y’all, the Archive admins are made up of VOLUNTEERS. And they have been working for 12-13 HOURS STRAIGHT. a different tumblr post about thanking volunteers who worked to bring the site(s) back online. Seems less informed than meeedeee's post but got a lot more notes.

JadedPrism someone really should create a page about this incident. There were two days of instabilities due to the DDOS attack, hacking groups taking the blame, anti-mulism from some parties, discussions about ao3 abstinence and people saying about the dangers of attacks like this giving voice to people who are against the site (including political actions, I read about this briefly on Twitter).
