A popular meme on Tumblr involves giving the reader a choice of several characters with short, bullet-pointed bios and asking them to "Tag Yourself" as one of the characters. According to Know Your Meme, most of the earliest posts were not fandom-specific but featured original characters often drawn with MS Paint or a similar program. The meme then spread to fandoms, where examples now are specific to one fandom, character, or actor, though they can really be any category. The characters are usually given new, joking names and the bullet-point bios are usually crack-like.
