Synecdochic is a prolific fanfiction writer, an ex-LiveJournal employee, and a co-founder of Dreamwidth. She wrote the highly influential popslash classics Rakes at the Gates of Hell and Heart of Stone, Eye of Tree. She also played a key role as an OTW critic in the 2023 OTW Management Controversy.
