Star Trek Lives! was a one-day "gathering" at Michigan State University held the first weekend in May. A number of stars were present, including William Shatner, Gene Roddenberry, Majel Barrett, Mark Lenard, Jim Doohan and his wife, Walter Koenig, and David Gerrold.
A fan in Amani #5 talks of this event: "Speechifying was done by all, and then an uncut 'City of the Adventure' was shown. The Blooper Film rounded out the late evening." The editor says the book Star Trek Lives! is due out soon.
This con was held the same weekend and on the same campus as OurCon.
