Reactions and Reviews

The very best, and longest, story (split between the two issues) is Judellen Thorton-Jaringe's "Somebody Else's Home Planet." The primary plot concerns the apparent murder of a Vulcan, Sedrik, Consul for the planet Shemf; Kirk is sent to investigate, and, as usual, Finds More Than He Bargained For. Some new crewmen, and a very unusual version of Chapel, get involved. T-J's Chapel will not be accepted -- may not even be believed -- by everyone, but it is at least consistent and an adult characterization that works. [1]
