Six Feet Under was a HBO series about a family-run funeral home. The actors include Michael C. Hall, also of Dexter fame, playing a canon gay character. The lead character was played by Peter Krause, who also appeared on Sports Night.
Fanworks based on the series include several crossovers, partly because of its contemporary Los Angeles setting and partly because several of the cast and guest stars are prominent in other shows set in that area.
