Excerpts

What was your first encounter with X-Files fanfic?

MSR---loved the concept, just hated the idea of MSR...soon thereafter found Skinnerotica.

What made you into a Skinneroticist?

Skinner made an impression on me from the beginning. I've always had a things for guys that wear a suit well, and for men with bald heads. And have I mentioned the voice? If you could hear dark chocolate melting, it would sound like Walter Skinner. Plus, as much as I love Mulder, I just can't see he and Scully together. In my fantasy world it's Skinner and Scully and then Mulder and Krycek. (I know, I'm a bit twisted)

What was your first experience with SIS?

Once I found MSR, I figured there must be others like me. Those who pictured the big guy sliding right out of those starched white shirts. Low and behold, all it took was a quick web-search to point me to SIS.

What are your top five all-time favorite stories?

Ok, "I Spy" by Red Valerian has to be up there as number one. In fact, just about anything by Red is on my list. Gosh, I love everything. Probably also anything by frogdoggie--I especially love the one where Skinner has to do the striptease. I don't know how to narrow it down any more than that.

Do you write for other fandoms? Which ones?

Nope. I've only written X-files stuff. Never gotten that caught up in any other shows. Although, I see a lot of potential with Oz.

How do you feel about fanfic in general?

I love fanfic. I think the whole fanfic genre has gotten a lot of people to be more expressive and explore their creative side. Plus, it really helps keep me interested in the show...especially when there's an...er, not so great season.
