Some Excerpts
Why did you choose your pen name?
Well, I chose it because after TPM, I was totally into Padmé being a Queen at the age of fourteen, which had been my age at the time. And Anakin, called her an Angel, which I suppose she was, to him anyway. So I put them together and AngelQueen came out. It clicked in my mind and it stayed there.
When did you start writing fanfiction?
About three years ago. I began a story in a small notebook that I still have today. It was, surprise!, a Star Wars story. I never finished it, but it still sits in my room, waiting to be picked up again.
Would you agree that fanfiction is a genre dominated by women, and if so, why do you think it's so?
While I know there are male writers out there, I'd have to say that it's dominated by women. I'd have to say that it could be because of the stereotypical society that we live in. People wouldn't be surprised if a girl wrote fantesies, while if a guy did, some would say that it is a slightly 'girly' thing to do.
