Shame Is Good For You was the name of the popslash site maintained by Wax Jism, who is a prolific and influential author in a number of fandoms. (The current site holds all of her fiction, FPF and RPF combined, but the earlier versions were popslash specific.) Eventually, she hosted popslash fiction by the authors Badbatz, Dacey Ellis, and Xoverau on her site, along with her own stories. She also hosts a number of other author sites, many of them containing popslash, on her domain. (Last accessed November 2008.)

Notable popslash stories include Orlando, a genderswap story featuring Justin, Pretty Dead City, a multipart AU, and As I Watch The Sun Fuck The Ocean.

The title refers to the fact that a lot of adult slash fans were mortified to find themselves being fannish about a) RPS and b) boybands! (They got over it.)
