Sasha Williams was character on AMC's horror-drama series The Walking Dead, portrayed by Sonequa Martin-Green. She does not appear in The Walking Dead comics.
Canon
In Season 3 Sasha and her brother Tyreese seek shelter at the prison, but are chased away by an unstable Rick. They then seek sanctuary from The Governor. After the collapse of Woodbury they become integrated with Rick's group. After the fall of the prison Sasha travels with Maggie and Bob in search of other survivors, Bob and Sasha begin a romantic relationship. They are captured at Terminus, after their escape Sasha is reunited with Tyreese. Soon after Bob is bit and dies, and Tyreese's fate is the same a few episodes later. Sasha spends the rest of Season 5 angry and lost, before finding some peace at the end of the season. In season 6 Sasha begins a romantic relationship with Abraham Ford. At the beginning of season 7 Negan kills Abraham. Sasha seeks vengeance, ultimately killing herself so she will turn into a walker and perhaps kill Negan.

- Comic Storyline: some fans were unhappy that Sasha was essentially given the storyline of comic character Holly, a character not adapted for television. Some felt that it wasn't consistent with Sasha's character arc, and that her relationship with Abraham Ford had no build up.[1]
