M. is a fanfiction writer and meta-essayist who has been writing in multiple fandoms since 2001.
History
The writer currently known as M. came first to fandom writing Angel. Her first Livejournal username and pseudonym was Maayan, which she used until 2005 before moving to the samdonne LJ.
Prior to her work in Stargate Atlantis and more currently Iron Man, M. was best known for her seminal work in Farscape fandom, where she was also a regular figure in irc chats frequented by the show's cast members and producers.
In 2005, along with the change in username, M. began to write Stargate Atlantis fiction and promptly shot to notoriety with her story Your Cowboy Days Are Over, which raced across fandom like wildfire, receiving recommendations everywhere.
