Ethari/Runaan, also known as Ruthari, is the slash pairing of elf husbands Runaan and Ethari in the The Dragon Prince fandom.
History
Ethari first appeared in the sketches of episodes 2's credits. Some fans believed he was being hinted at having a relationship with Runaan.[1] Giancarlo Volpe, an executive producer, commented on twitter that the character could be called "Tearful Tinker Elf" for the time being and thus the fandom went with "Tinker." The speculation on his connection to Runaan has made so-called "Runaan/Tinker" a popular ship.
In season 3, Ethari appeared, onscreen and named, and was shown to be Runaan's husband waiting for him back home.
