Robert Bloch was an American author of mystery, horror and fantasy. He got his start contributing to the H.P. Lovecraft mythos as part of Lovecraft's writing circle. Some of his most famous works were the original novel version of Psycho and three episodes of Star Trek. He was a Guest of Honor at Torcon I in 1948.
