In issue 90 of the comics Andrea and Rick's physical relationship finally starts, though it is slow to pick up as Rick doesn't want to lose anyone else close to him. Issue 96 is when they finally get together for good and stay together until Andrea's comic death in issue 167.

TV Show

The romance between Rick and Andrea never got to develop on the tv show due to Andrea being killed off in Season Three's finale. But prior to that the two weren't shown to be particularly close, despite having been in the same group for the first two season's of the show. She was much closer to Shane Walsh and Philip Blake.
