Renora is a RWBY het pairing involving Lie Ren and Nora Valkyrie.
Canon
Ren and Nora are childhood friends who have travelled together since they were young after they were both left orphaned by Grimm attacks. Upon joining Beacon Academy they became partners within Team JNPR.
Fandom
Renora's has been a well liked relationship with the RWBY fandom since its introduction in Volume 1. The early fandom debated if the Nora's fairly obvious feelings for Ren were unrequited, there was a push of support following the release of "Boop", a song from the Volume 2 soundtrack that was sang from Nora's perspective with the lyrics "When I wanna say "I love you" I'll say Boop".
Many felt the ship had become canon in Volume 4's finale, however, fans grew frustrated after Volume 5 and 6 did not contain any references to the relationship, throwing its status as canon into question. The debate was finally put to bed after Ren and Nora kissed in Volume 7.
