A Reality TV AU fic is a fic in which the characters of a different fandom are placed into a reality TV show of choice. Harry, Ron and Hermoine taking part on the Reality TV show Survivor! The Dragon Ball crew being contestants on Takeshi's Castle! K-Pop legends moving into Terrace House! Diana Prince as the Bachelorette! The Avengers on Big Brother! More often than not, Reality TV AU fics are usually humorous, feel-good fics.
