Some Excerpts

What was the first con you went to?

The first con I ever went to was in August of 2001, and it was Otakon. I had such a great time, even though our hotel was a quarter of a mile away and it poured down rain all three days. I didn't have any clothing dry at the end of Sunday, and my suitcase was wet as well. I've never minded getting stuck in the rain since, and I'd do it all over if I could.

What do you like the best about Queen's Own?

The thing I like best about the Queen's Own are the people who are in it. Everyone I've talked to is a wonderful person, who has an interesting point of view and who's willing to share it.

Why did you choose to the editor of a Queen's Own fanzine/newsletter?

I chose to be the editor of a newsletter because I love writing. I love anything about it, and I had some free time that would have been better spent doing this. Besides, I get to read stories first!

What other projects besides Queen's Own occupy your time?

Other projects besides Queen's Own. Wow. Well, I don't have many projects, per say, because I do so many other things. I'm preparing to write a book now, so I work on that a lot each day. I'm a student, so I go to school and have homework to do as well. I've been taking fencing for 3-and-a-half years, and fence in competitions as well as classes. I have a rose garden that I work on a bit, and I do fansub distribution on a small scale. That's pretty much everything I do.
