Pretty Good Year is a 220-page Lord of the Rings fanzine collection of a series of online stories called Pretty Good Year and West of the Moon.
They were written by Mary Borsellino.
The zine has a color cover by Serai and black and white interior art by Hyel.

Sometimes the happy ending isn't on the last page. 1420 was known for years after as a marvellous time, but what of 1421? For Rosie, Sam, Frodo and Elanor, it's a year of endings, beginnings, and the telling of bittersweet tales.
This fanfiction work has given rise to fanfiction of its own, artwork and translations. It exists online as a site and as a community. The whole of the story is available on Mary’s site, in the address http://muse.inkstigmata.net/prettygoodyear.html.
Aside from this core story, the two endings have been added to in the West of the Moon and East of the Sun fiction to the point that they could not fit within the covers of a single book. The story is still being told.
