Ernestina Pickman, best known in both canon and fandom simply as Pickman, is a character from Sangfielle, the seventh full season of the actual-play podcast Friends at the Table. She is a very large humanoid goat woman who always wears heavy armour, and she specializes in wrangling malevolent trains the way a cowboy wrangles livestock. Among Friends at the Table fans she is the most popular player character from Sangfielle and one of the most popular characters from the entire show.
History
Pickman has been an extremely popular character in Friends at the Table fandom since her introduction in Sangfielle, and she features in a great number of works of fanart. Fans cite her character design, her emotional unavailability, and her butch lesbian appeal as reasons that she is sexy.[1]
In Secret Samol, the fandom's annual gift exchange, she was the most-requested character in both 2021 (the year Sangfielle began) and 2022,[2] but was unseated by Kalvin Brnine in 2023.[3] She also swept the 2023 fattsexyperson poll bracket on Tumblr.[4] Later that same year, Friends at the Table fans fought hard for Pickman when she was matched up against a character from a much larger actual-play fandom in the Sexiest Podcast Character bracket.[5]
