Paula Truelove became active in science fiction and media fandom in the 70s. She organized one of the first Star Wars fan clubs, The Royal Order of the Rebel Forces in 1977. She was also a co-editor on Flip of a Coin, the long-running Star Wars and Harrison Ford fanzine.
