Ozai is the main antagonist of the animated series Avatar: The Last Airbender. He is voiced by Mark Hamill.
Canon
Ozai is the Fire Lord of the Fire Nation at the beginning of the story and the series follows the Gaang's journey towards their ultimate goal of defeating him. As the ultimate antagonist and also the father of supporting characters Zuko and Azula he appears sparsely in the first seasons before taking a more significant on screen role in season 3.
Fandom
Ozai is almost universally hated in fandom for his abusive parenting and imperialism. His treatment of his family, especially his children, is a common focus of fanworks.
