Otterlady is a gen Due South and Starsky & Hutch fan fiction writer.

Her work has won several awards, including the Torino Awards. In 2003, she was nominated for the Starsky & Hutch Paula Wilshe Award. She submitted her work to several online archives and mailing lists.

She also wrote Starsky & Hutch slash fiction and poetry under a second pseud and shared this slash fan fiction and poetry both online and in fanzines.

She was a co-founder of the Starsky & Hutch mailing list Loveofmeandthee and co-moderated the mailing list until 2001. In 2001 she stepped down from moderating to deal with real life commitments, but remained a list member for a few more years. In 2003, she became dissatisfied with the moderation of the mailing list and left after posting a public and angry farewell, similar to her exit from The Pits mailing list in 2001.

In 2009, she began taking both her gen and slash fan fiction and poetry offline.
