Only Human is an unfinished Star Trek: TNG novel by Alara Rogers. Started in 1993 and first published online around November 1994,[1] Alara believes it to be the earliest of the now-popular genre of 'Deja Q' AUs, where Q remains human and does not get his powers back.[2] Aside from Q, the main characters are OCs, particularly a human physicist, Harry Roth, and a Vulcan psychologist, T'Laren.
Only Human remains unfinished as of June 2016, though Alara expressed interest in finishing it in a livejournal post dated May 2015.[3]
There are multiple spinoffs from Only Human, written by Alara, Mercutio and others. The main ones are:

Reviews
From ASC's Best Author of 1995, here's an alternate history to "Deja Q" in which Q remains Human. Not exactly TrekSmut (although she keeps making promises), but certainly adult in subject. Once you've read it, check out "PropinQuity" by Mercutio and "The Q Who Fell to Earth" by Jeanita Danzik for variations on the same theme. There are also bunch of other "Only Human" spin-off stories by Alara and Mercutio (together and separately).[4]
