I've got a hugh fondness of 'Langoustini', and how he changed Vecchio. There are a few stories that deal with the aftermath and this is one of them. This is Vecchio and not Vecchio, and my heart breaks for him here.This story combines an interesting structure with great characterization. It's an intense and angsty view at Vecchio and his relationships, and the influence he has on the other characters.
This story stayed with me weeks after reading it and changed my take on Vecchio forever. [1]
