One Night is a Hanson fanfic written by Albertane Child.
Originally intended to be a oneshot, the story expanded to six chapters, detailing a one night stand that became a love triangle between an OFC, Isaac Hanson and Taylor Hanson.
Reactions and Reviews
Because of the story’s brief length, it’s hard to relate to any of the characters, but I do appreciate the bittersweet ending. Albertane Child’s writing is a bit stilted, although she does stumble onto some nice turns of phrase, and switches tenses often. Still, the smut is very good and I can see why she earned her reputation in that area. With a little editing and perhaps a bit of lengthening this not-quite-Taylor story might be something really good.[1]
I agree that there are many authors and stories that deserved much more than they got. My for instance is April's "One Night" receiving a nomination for "Best Dirty Story." What a slap in the face. Yes, April's stories are racy, but there is a difference between well-written erotica and "dirty" stories. The thing is, the people who were nominating stories couldn't see past the fact that there were sex scenes in the story. For them, that automatically made the story "dirty." [2]
