Octavia/Raven is one of the more common femslash pairings in The 100 fandom.
Canon
Octavia is part of the original 100 and was sent to juvenile lockup for being a second child. She embraces Grounder culture early on having never felt a part of the Sky People due to the circumstances of her birth, opting to wear Grounder clothing as well as applying Grounder war paint and getting at least one tattoo. She is also the first to start speaking Trigedasleng, the Grounder language.
Raven is the primary mechanic and explosives expert for the Delinquents. Raven is not part of the original the 100, however, she barters her way down to Earth with the help of Abigail Griffin to join her boyfriend, Finn Collins, by refurbishing an escape pod. Once on Earth, Raven builds a radio that allows the Delinquents to make contact with the Ark. She also creates walkie-talkies, bullets, grenades and bombs for the 100.
