Reactions and Reviews

The first thing I have to mention is the lovely color cover illustration by K9. Rafe babes rejoice! Ahem... It has been awhile since I read this on the 'net. But I think I can give a brief idea of what this 'zine is about. The information I have is that the 'zine version contains several exclusive new chapters comprising the end of the novel. Like I said it's been awhile since I read it and I haven't yet read the 'zine version, merely skimmed it, so I couldn't say what is different exactly. However, I very much enjoyed the story from the 'net and looking forward to reading the 'zine! Jim and Blair are an established couple. Blair catches the eye of a wealthy Rainier benefactor. The man is unable to take Blair's "NO!" for an answer and continues to pursue him, eventually becoming obsessed. He kidnaps Blair and, later, Jim whisking them off to his fortress where he and his hired muscle proceeds to use torture and the threat of torture to get Blair to co-operate with his sexual advances. Finally they are rescued by the MC gang (about half way through - so they aren't tortured through the whole novel!). Then begins the healing process for both Jim and Blair. But for Jim it's a very painful road. Just when you think it's safe to go back in the water, one of hired thugs of the man that kidnapped Jim and Blair decides she wants Rafe! A very painful n/c sex story, torture, mental angst, guilt, the whole shebang. But LOTS of comfort. If you can bear the thought of someone besides Jim touching Blair, then this is a great read!
