Arthur's plan for avoiding marriage is to have Merlin play him in the next Kingdom and offend the poor girl until she decides against it. Merlin's plan is that next time he's going to say no. A delightful, plotty, and humorous story with pining and angst and hilarity.[1]

An absolutely hilarious story. Arthur/Merlin, Arthur and Merlin pretend to be each other in order for Arthur to escape a possible marriage.[2]

There is so much that I enjoyed about this fic. The jealous and pining!Arthur and oblivious!Merlin were great, and I loved the two of them pretending to be each other so Arthur doesn’t have to marry a princess. There’s angst and misunderstandings and I loved every word of it. Go read it![3]
