NewHopePress was a zine publisher of femslash and saffic fiction.

They published at least one zine, The Stars are Projectors.

The Publisher's Guidelines

What we are looking for:

  • Stories that explore romantic/ sexual relationships between two female characters (Although, NC17 stories will not be accepted)
  • Stories that explore friendships between two or more female characters
  • Stories that explore antagonistic relationships between female characters
  • Stories that get into the heads and hearts of our favorite characters
  • Both happy and sad stories; angsty and funny; plot driven and character driven stories are welcome

What we are NOT looking for:

  • Sex for the sake of sex
  • Sex for the sake of some guy who is watching
  • Hardcore BDSM or violence. If you thinking your story might be pushing the line check with Hope
  • Stories that are out of character or against a fandom's canon
  • Fluff with out a plot. Same goes for PWPs
  • Mary Sues

  • "Joy Cometh in the Morning," a multimfandom charity zine for the 2004 tsunami
  • "Peacemakers" (may also have been called "Cops and Lawyers"), a multifandom cop show zine (Law & Order, Law & Order: SVU, Law & Order: CI, NAVY: NCIS, Cold Case, Crossing Jordan, CSI, CSI: Miami, JAG and The X-Files), submission request
  • "Spies Like Us", a multifdanom spy show zine, Spooks (MI-5), Charlie's Angels and Alias submission request
  • "High School Hell", a multifandom zine about high school students, Popular, Gilmore Girls, Joan of Arcadia, The O. C., Dawson's Creek, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, The Princess Diaries and 7th Heaven, submission request
  • "Like Magic", a multifandom zine featuring fandoms and stories about magic, Harry Potter, Buffy, Angel and Charmed, as well other fandoms not listed and magical stories from nonmagical fandoms
  • "Desert Sun", a CSI, CSI: Miami and CSI: New York zine, submission request
