Ann Wortham is a prolific zine editor, winning multiple Fan Quality Awards for gen and slash zines in several fandoms. She is a fan writer and the editor of the zines Southern 7, Southern Knights, Southern Lights, and Southern Comfort, among many others.

In Blake's 7 fandom, she has been reported to have coined 'mindwipe' to apply to Blake's memory erasure.[2]

Wortham often worked with Leah Rosenthal.

Wortham was one of the major players in the Blake's 7 Wars.
