Moringmark is a fanartist known for his short comics for The Owl House, Star vs the Forces of Evil, and Gravity Falls. Moringmark started posting his comics and arts somewhere in 2015 and ever since then, he posted a new comic daily or in rare circumstances, once in few days.
Description
Moringmark is very famous and widely praised in the Disney TV series fandom. Mainly for posting high-quality one-shot and serialized comics consistently every single day with interesting storyline and a similar art style to the show he draw, which is a feat that no other fan artist inside the fandom could achieve. Moringmark even got his own flair in The Owl House's biggest subreddit for all publications of his comic and any discussion regarding it.
Moringmark consistency and high-quality comics made him jokingly assumed by fans that he may secretly someone who is working for Disney or any big creative company, which would explain his secrecy. It is also widely believed that Moringmark could be a group rather than one person, as people believe that posting such a detailed comic every single day is too unrealistic and complicated to be done with only one person.
Moringmark has made so many comic series of the fandom he is in. But despite his well-known consistency, he only ever finished 4 series as of January 2025. He is notoriously known for abandoning his series without any known reason, including a comic series of his own original story. Moringmark is seemingly preferred shipping and romantic stories, as every series that have been completed are all shipping-related series. He is noticeably much more motivated when it comes to any shipping series rather than his treatment with non-shipping series, it can be seen from not updating them as quick as shipping series or abandoning them halfway through the series.
Moringmark has collaborated with other fan artist such as during the making of Citadel of Starco AU and his original series Aim For the Stars. The premise of Citadel of Starco is a place where all fan childs gather in one place, Moriingmark drawn many fan child OCs from other artists in the fandom and would also make comics for people who made their own Citadel of Starco comics. Shortly after Aim For the Stars release, Moringmark posted an Egg Drop Challenge on Instagram where he asks people to create something to protect an egg. Chosen submissions was picked by Moringmark to be drawn a reaction comic of Kate (the main character) and other casts using the submitted creation to protect the egg. Moringmark has also collaborated with other artists to create a one-shot comic.
Personal Life
Moringmark (he/him) is a renowned and widely recognized fan artist in the Gravity Falls, Star vs. the Forces of Evil, and The Owl House fandom. According to one his Doodle Warrior comic, he used Ipad and Apple Pencil to draw[1]. He is assumed to be also using Medibang and Photoshop as his drawing software.[2] His first fandom was Phineas and Ferb.[3]
Not much is known about Moringmark's personal life as he rarely interacted with other people and shared anything other than his comics. According to his DeviantArt profile, he is from Hong Kong and possibly works in film and animation industry.
In May 2016, a reader asked why Moringmark stopped doing Gravity Falls comic. At that time, Moringmark is slowly phasing out of Gravity Falls with only 1 comic a month since the beginning of the year. Moringmark answered that he ran out of idea to make new Gravity Falls comics.[4] His last Gravity Falls comic was posted on April 30 2017.
In August 2020, his father passed away and he took a hiatus for few months before returning to his usual schedule.

- Enna: An original character that debuted in the Grom Factor comic series. She was the person trapped inside the Grom for hundreds of years until Milan and Ayzee saved her, where Milan decided to fuse with the Grom. She cursed herself to be a shapeshifting monster to protect her village. But her village outcasted her instead and she was forced to flee her village.

After the public revelation of King being a Titan shortly after Luz's victory against Belos, witches who saw the Titan as a god started to come to The Owl House to worship him. He grows to be weary and frustrated of his popularity. He became a shut-in and avoids everyone, including his own family (except Eda), by telling them that he's on a long trip.
- Odalia Blight: In his future Boiling Isles comics, she is described to be homeless after the event of the canon series finale and sometimes plotting with other Belos supporters (such as Kikimora and Tibbles) to retake the Boiling Isles for Belos. During the Fight Coven series, she is seemingly working with an unknown organization who hates the present day Boiling Isles to an Abomaton Soldier's spare part that is hidden by Amity.
