The Miniskirt Army was a Travis Willingham fanclub formed around voice actor Travis Willingham and the character he played in the Fullmetal Alchemist anime, Roy Mustang.
History
It was founded by Melly at the 2006 Middle Tennessee Anime Convention during a game of volleyball. [1] It is unclear if this game was the same one played against the Risembool Rangers that was chronicled in Vic Mignogna's song "The Battle of Middle Tennessee."[2]
The group's name comes from a joke in the Fullmetal Alchemist series involving Roy Mustang's fondness for miniskirts.[3]
In addition to their main website, they operated a DeviantArt group, a forum, and other online spaces. [4]
The fanclub was active until around 2013, when their website's domain went up for sale.[5]
