Meenah Peixes is one of the characters of Homestuck.
Canon
In canon, Meenah Peixes is a water-dwelling alien who is an alternate timeline version of an antagonist or villain, the harsh troll empress known as "Her Imperial Condescension". Due to some circumstances, in her time line she never was empress, but instead chose to pay more attention to what was going on off-planet and play the reality-altering game, Sburb.
Because of how long ago things occurred, and the general amount of time weirdness and time travel in Homestuck, for most of the story's time she is seen as a old ghost, floating in the realm of the eldritch gods. She has some skill in fighting and likes that more than talking, but also helps to convince some other ghosts to fight against and defeat Lord English. She is canonically in brief relationships with both Aranea Serket/Meenah Peixes and Vriska Serket/Meenah Peixes and is shipped with both along with others.

The most common ships in fandom are between her and the two Serket "sisters" who she has interactions with in canon, however those interactions are brief and she appears rather late in the canon storyline, leading to a fair amount of "filling in the gaps". Vriska Serket/Meenah Peixes is semi popular for a rare pair and has almost 100 works on AO3, however Aranea Serket and Meenah Peixes also have a considerable amount of fics using the "&" symbol. Early on in the fandom, she also tended to be used as a side character and in Crossovers with other media, for example, one of the first fics cross posted to AO3 using her as a character, Things Better Left Untouched by Soul of Blaze, was a Doctor Who crossover. This is somewhat speculation a fanlore editor, but this may be in part due to the large amount of new (canon) worldbuilding in the Homestuck universe that was revealed around the same time her character was introduced. There were also quickly Femmeslash Aranea Serket/Meenah Peixes fics like Silk by Dogtier.
