Media Club Plus is a fannish discussion podcast launched in 2023 by Friends at the Table cast members Keith J. Carberry, Andrew Lee Swan, Jack de Quidt, and Sylvi Bullet. It focuses on the hosts rewatching/rereading/re-experiencing and discussing canons that they are fans of, beginning with the 2011 Hunter x Hunter anime.[1]
History
Media Club Plus was originally planned as a limited-run series exclusively about Hunter x Hunter for Friends at the Table's Patreon supporters. Instead, it was released as its own podcast on a separate podcast feed, as an ongoing series that would begin with Hunter x Hunter and cover a different canon each season.[2]
Its launch in late 2023 influenced a lot of Friends at the Table fans to get into and become fans of Hunter x Hunter.
