Reactions and Reviews
2001
A very short (two page) alternate-universe story of Kirk as an Irish dancer and Spock as his mysterious dance partner. This was a neat idea that only served to frustrate me as it was basically a synopsis for a longer story. I was disappointed because it was such a cool idea filled with wonderfully sexy moments with smoldering passions and energy of the Irish dance it describes.
Speaking of the Irish dance — there was a lot of descriptions and definitions that should have been incorporated into the story to have been effective. I mean, learning a little bit about Irish dance isn't a bad thing — but I would have liked to have read about Kirk and Spock in that milieu instead. [1]

This story is truly weird. And very short. You can gather by the title it concerns Celtic/Irish dancing. I would have been interested in reading a longer version just to see if it really worked for me. I've read Kirk-as-dancer type stories before and just have trouble visualizing the action. [2]
And now for something completely different... a mytho-poetic little piece with Kirk and Spock competing as Irish dance prodigies / gods. [3]
