Lobotomy Kaisen is a term for the state of the Jujutsu Kaisen fandom during breaks in the weekly serialised manga. First coined on Youtube in late 2023 and popularised on the r/JujutsuFolk subreddit, the phrase refers to the way that fan activity such as memes become chaotic and nonsensical due to a lack of new content — as if fans had been "lobotomised".
