Living In The Future is a Steve/Tony story by Closer.
Summary: Eighteen-year-old Tony Stark is the boy genius who woke Captain America, and now he's stuck with him. That's not a bad thing, but between Steve's wide-eyed wonder at the new world and Tony's little fanboy crush, the awkwardness just keeps happening.
Author's notes:
This is set in the Armored Adventures cartoon universe, where Tony lost his father and became Iron Man at sixteen instead of in his thirties; in Armored Adventures, Tony has seen Steve in stasis in a glass case, but they haven't been able to wake him. It's crossed over with the Ulitmate Spider-man cartoon universe, where Peter Parker is in superhero training with Agent Coulson, though I've jiggered the timeline a little (Cap's awake and Tony's an adult in Peter's 'verse, so I've ignored that).

Adorable Iron Man: Armored Adventures fic, crossing over with the Ultimate Spiderman cartoon. The tone is perfect for the universe, and the slow build of friendship and attraction between Tony and Steve is just so satisfying.[1]
Why I Like It: Remember how I said I don’t really like schmoopy? This is another one of those fics that slipped past my schmoop-radar, because there’s so much other stuff going on that’s enjoyable. Like the dialogue, which is incredibly clever and character-defining. And come on. Eighteen-year-old Tony Stark? You know you can’t resist that.[2]
I love the concept of this fic: that Tony wakes up Steve from stasis and then gets to introduce Steve to the 21st century, culminating in the formation of the Avengers. Mostly I love the characterization of everyone; Tony is not perfect - he’s 18! - and is learning single-handed how to hand a multi-million dollar company on top of running an international superhero team. Oh, and he’s desperately in love with one of the most famous and prevalent superheroes in the history of time. Of course he screws up. Steve is bewildered and lost in the beginning but has a high learning curve; he grasps reality with both hands and isn’t afraid to tackle the hard things. The rest of the Avengers are a strange mix of the movie and their tv show counterparts, which is really fantastic. [...] Overall, I love the tone of this fic - it’s smart and funny and snarky and very relatable. The author does a rather fabulous job of mashing a few universes together in a seamless manner to create a world that is not only entertaining but believable. Wonderful fic![3]
As with everything that Closer writes, this is just so delightful and funny and quick-witted. The was she writes the entire ensemble cast with such flair and personality, it's hard not love this fic to death. And her Tony Stark voice is spot on. :D[4]
