Logan's Run is a novel written by William F. Nolan, that was later adapted into a film, and then a short run television series, about a society where to maintain resources everyone over the age of 21 year of age is killed, this is increased to age 30 in the film. The story follows the actions of Logan 5, a "Sandman" who has terminated others who have attempted to escape death and is now faced with termination himself.
