KrisRix (hereafter Kris) is a fanartist and fanfiction writer. He is a BNF primarily in the Carry On fandom, known for both art and fic, but also for moderating the fandom's primary Discord server and other community organisation efforts. He is also active on Tumblr where he sometimes posts his own meta or responds to others.
In the run up to the publication of Any Way the Wind Blows, he worked with Rainbow Rowell to design a t-shirt that was sold in her official store. His Carry On anniversary poster was also sold as a poster in the store. Along with TBazzSnow and other fans, he took part in the Barnes and Noble virtual launch where Rainbow expressed her appreciation for his art.

Kris also produces web comics with his husband under the name atelierMUSE. These are often adult/erotic and have been published by Slipshine. Previews are available on Patreon.[2].
He's a professional voice actor and worked with Venessa Kelley to record a partial podfic of TBazzSnow's fic Can't Find My Way Home.
Discord and Community
Kris did not found the main Carry On Discord server (this was done by Heathus in 2019), but quickly became one of the principle and most visible moderators. For this reason, and because he's widely respected and liked within fandom circles, he's been involved in resolving disputes and has published public statements that have helped diffuse fandom drama.
In 2020, he led the release of Golden Days zine (2020), for which he was also the cover artist, editor and a contributor. This zine wasn't the first in Carry On fandom, but it was extremely influential in terms of raising the profile of the idea of creating fanzines in this fandom. The zine also raised a significant amount for charity. Kris's comics and/or artwork have also been featured in Let It Snow! and The Simon Snow Colouring Book.
Kris signs up for most fests or events that are publicised in the fandom.

Fanart
Kris produces a large number of individual, original fan artworks, including comics, which he writes for. Some of his artwork is explicitly sexual, which is almost unique within the fandom, with a few other notable exceptions.

He also frequently produces art for fics by other fanwriters, either through formalised fest settings or as a result of his relationships with those writers. He illustrated his first Carry On fic, A Room Just For Two (2019), but otherwise hasn't illustrated his own writing except in comic format. These comics are usually posted to AO3, although most of his other art is not.
He completed Inktober in both 2019 and 2020.

Fanfiction
Kris is one of the most popular fanwriters in Carry On fandom. He is arguably best known for writing smut with feelings, especially the 5+1 linked below, but in fact most of his most popular fics are teen-rated. He primarily writes in first-person, but has written some third-person works.
