King Clawthorne (formerly just King) is the tritagonist of The Owl House. He is a young Titan who is Eda's sidekick, then adopted son. At the end of the series, he becomes a linguist, where he makes his own glyphs.
Canon
Prior to the series, King seems to be a roommate with Eda, the Owl-lady. Self-proclaim "King of the Demons", hence his name. Through, Luz's help for his self-esteem and finding his identity in Season 2. Along made Eda his adoptive mother. He's currently a playmate with an entity name the Collector in Season 3.

Fanon
King has been featured as a tagged character in over 4,500+ works on AO3, over 1,400+ on FFN as of March 2023, and many works elsewhere online.
King has also a small but slight increase furry following due to his unique and short appearance and his voice being Alex Hirsch of Gravity Falls fame. It comes as a surprise later, that his species, Titans, also got the same traction. As OCs.
Some people joined Gravity Falls fandom specifically because of a prior interest in Alex Hirsch:
So I’d already heard from like every corner of the internet that Owl House was good, but I’d have come ferally bounding forward a hell of a lot sooner if anyone had told me:
- the cute little cubone looking demon is voiced by Alex Hirsch
- the cute little cubone looking demon is voiced by Alex Hirsch doing his Bill voice
The show has a TON of great things going for it that are whimsical and intriguing and original and this is absolutely not meant to reduce any of that to “it’s gravity falls!!”
But I AM absolutely saying that HEARING Bill, every single episode, in a world where Bill’s chilled out to become a cynical, sarcastic, snack-happy loveable mascot agent of adorable chaos is ABSOLUTELY straight serotonin to the brain.
Biological Age vs Chronological Age Debate
Throughout the show, King's age is sometimes debated, even after the episode "Echoes of the Past" was released. As most fans assumed/accepted that his age is very possibly around 8 years old at minimum or probably 9 or 10 years old at maximum. While some pointed out that since he technically exists as a functionally surviving egg, as revealed in the same episode. Along with more clues revealed in the same season, with Titan's (aka King's actual species) biology works slightly differently from other species in the show. He could also be if not chronologically older, than his biological appearance suggested.
