Kaoru is a main character in the video game BanG Dream!, as well as the anime of the same name.

Canon

The most dramatic character in the entire series, a meeting with Kaoru is a fleeting experience, to say the least. Her Shakespearean dialect gives the air of intelligence, however any attempt to scratch beneath that pretence will reveal the complete opposite, as Kaoru often has no idea what the phrase she’s reciting even mean, right down to her ‘favourite’ foods. The prince of Haneoka Girls’ High knows all too well that all the world’s a stage.

Fandom

It would be quicker to list the girls who Kaoru hasn’t been shipped with. As the ‘most likely lesbian’ among the cast of BanG Dream!, she is actively shipped with almost everyone. Most common pairings include with other members of Harohapi, as well as childhood friend Chisato Shirasagi.
