Jen's Iphicles slash fiction site was a personal slash fanfiction site. Almost all of the fiction on this site was centered on Iphicles, Hercules' mortal half-brother. Other fandoms include Battlestar Galactica (original series), CSI, Horatio Hornblower, Magnificent 7, Stargate Atlantis and Supernatural.

It was a member of the Hercules-Xena Slash Ring and the Slash Fan Fiction Ring. The site was originally hosted by Dencity but had to move following their change of policy regarding adult sites.

Fiction

Series

Interlude - Ares, God of Love, watches his AU counterpart, the God of War. Slash.

Resolution - Follows on from Interlude. Ares, God of Love, searches for the AU Iphicles. Cupid, God of War, interferes. Non-consensual sex, slash.

Completion - A short scene, set some time after the end of Resolution. Slash.

Voice from the Past - Rena, speaking from the Underworld, confronts Ares about Iphicles. Het, implied slash relationship.

Aftermath - Follows Voice from the Past. Ares responds to Rena's challenge. Slash.

Single Stories

Alone and Silent - Ares is forced to make a choice. Slash relationship. Warning for character death.

The Bribe - There's a guest appearance by Hephaestus in this one, as Ares gets his own way. Slash, incest.

Deliverance - Rena acts to secure her future.This is a rather different Rena from the one portrayed in Voice From the Past. Het.

Discovery - Hercules, searching for knowledge, finds that not everything is as simple as he had hoped. Slash. Warning for incest and sex involving somebody teetering on the edge of the age of consent.

The Hardest Time of All - Ares is watched with his new lover, Caesar. BDSM, slash.

Lessons - Iphicles finds out that some things have to be learned the hard way. Slash, and warnings for a testosterone-laden attitude.

Lost - A young Iphicles ends up in Corinth, searching for something. Slash.

Regency Fuck parts 1, 2,3 , 4and 5 - A story featuring familiar characters in the setting of Regency England. Iphicles, Earl of Royston, is befriended by the Duke of Aresborough. Slash. Be warned that this also contains some period English xenophobia.

Regret - Hercules' obsession with Iphicles leads Iolaus to an extreme act, with devastating consequences. A dark tale. Slash, incest, and rape.

Rescue - Written in response to a challenge on the ksmithares list. This challenge was to rework a fairy tale. I chose that ultimate rescue fantasy, Cinderella. No prizes for guessing who Prince Charming is. Comedy, slash.

Ritual - Iphicles worships his god.Slash.

Sand - Another ksmithares challenge response. The challenge was Ares and Apollo on a beach, but somehow a certain Corinthian king managed to muscle in on the act as well. Slash, non-consensual elements.

Terminal - You guessed it - yet another ksmithares challenge response. I hesitated before putting this up as it's so short, but it's here anyway. The challenge this time was to try a piece in a different style to usual. No sex, just angst, as Iphicles mourns Rena.

Traitor - Ares discovers his lover has betrayed him. Slash relationship.

True Love and Other Fairy Tales - Aphrodite entrusts Cupid with a task - to find a new bride for the King of Corinth. Fluffiness and slash.

When in Rome... - Caesar introduces the King of Corinth to a Roman custom, but why? Slash, and creativity with Greek/Roman historical periods.

Not surprisingly, most of these have a significant Iphiclean content. I can't recommend any of them highly enough - go and see!

The ksmithares list archive This archive contains more than 350 stories by members of the ksmithares list, as well as links to all sorts of writing resources and other good things. Mainly slash, with some het. Oh, and if you're not already a member, do subscribe to the list while you're there.

The Royal Court of Corinth As the name suggests, a site dedicated to the Copper One. Contains gen, slash and het fic, a gallery, sound files (who doesn't want their computer to announce "I want Iphicles now" whenever new mail arrives?) and links to both slash and gen sites.

Less Iphicles, but still highly recommended

Erin's House-o-fanfic Slash fanfic focusing on some of the supporting characters in the Herc/Xenaverse, and lots of other goodies too.

Fugue[1] Fanfic by Candace. She's created a fabulous and rich world which, if you're not very careful, will have you liking Deimos.

The Professionals

Oblique publications Oblique are making some classic fanzines available online, and this site includes some excellent stories. They actually have a variety of fandoms, though lack of time means that I've only so far explored 'The Professionals'.
