Inho/Gihun, also known as 457 is the slash pairing between Seong Gihun, the main character of Squid Game and Hwang Inho, the Frontman and main antagonist. Prior to the release of season two of the series on Boxing Day 2024, the pairing was a rare ship with less than 10 stories on AO3. The ship grew quickly after its release, reaching and surpassing Sangwoo/Gihun not even two weeks later with more than 500 stories as of January 7, 2025.
It has been compared to Hannigram due to similarities with their dynamics and physical resemblance of Inho and Hannibal.
Fandom
The pairing went insanely popular on TikTok at the end of December 2024. It's been described as old man toxic doomed yaoi. The scene where they are looking at each other and there's a rainbow painted on the wall behind them joining their heads together during the second game has been widely discussed as a happy coincidence or, jokingly a sign of canonization.
The name of the ship "457" is the sum of the player numbers of both (456 and 001).
In Jan 1, 2025, a twitter user asked people to draw a few screenshots of a guy being gagged and tied up and another guy getting very close to him as Inhun,[1] the post reached more than 9k likes and nearly 800 reposts with some of the drawing getting really popular. The screenshots feature two russian actors, and some users from Russia were amused that it is so popular overseas[2][3] and wondered if Arseniy Popov and Anton Zakharyin, the actors appearing on them, know about it.
