In My Heart is a Pokémon doujinshi by Shigesato no Heya. It is a Satoshi x Shigeru AU. The doujinshi Thoughts Channel Together may be in the same universe.

Here's something different; it's an AU doujinshi about Shigeru and Satoshi. It's a great doujin; that is, if you don't mind the fact that Satoshi looks about twelve years old and Shigeru looks nineteen. ^^;

It's fairly good though--beautiful artwork. The story is that Shigeru is a stranger that Satoshi and his mother pick up; he promises Satoshi he won't leave, but he really has to. Satoshi is really torn by this; during Shigeru's time there, they got along famously, and Satoshi developed a crush on him. And Satoshi gained a special place in Geru's heart. They share a sweet little kiss, and Satoshi ends up joining Shigeru on his adventure. Nice little fluff, and the fact that it's an AU doujin makes it all the more interesting. Reminds me a little of PokeRealm by WhiteCat-sama.

Plot Summary

Shigeru has been traveling for a long time- he wants to sleep in a warm bed. He meets a boy in the woods- Satoshi, who remarks that he can tell Shigeru is a good person because of his eyes. The two return to Satoshi's house, where the younger boy convinces Shigeru to stay and Haneko gives him soup. [...]

Next day Shigeru goes out in the woods with his monster, Blackie. He fishes and collects herbs. Satoshi joins him and is in very good spirits. But that night Shigeru tells Blackie that it's time to leave the town. Satoshi overhears, calls the other boy a liar and runs away.

After telling Satoshi's mother of the incident, Shigeru goes after Satoshi. He finds him without much trouble. Satoshi feels betrayed by what he overheard and says he wants Shigeru, and knows what that implies.Shigeru tries to tell him he knows nothing of real feelings or the real world, but sees in Satoshi's eyes that he's serious. They kiss and come to a silent agreement to travel together.
