The Horizon video game series began in 2017 with Horizon Zero Dawn, an open world action RPG developed by Guerilla Games. The game follows Aloy, who traverses a post-apocalyptic world filled with machines as she attempts to find answers to who she is, and where she came from. The sequel, Horizon Forbidden West, was released on 18th February 2022. A spinoff VR game, Call of the Mountain, was released a few days later.
