Holodeck: New Year's Eve was a Star Trek mini-con. It was held December 31, 1989 at the Apollo Hotel in Birmingham, England. There was an afternoon video program, evening buffet meal, video disco, silly games, overnight accommodation, and a full English breakfast.
One purpose of the con was, of course, fun. But the other was to [contribute to the "aid of the Confetti bail-out fund."
This con had two sister cons: Holodeck and Holodeck: A Klingon Weekend.
